Guests traveling from Dallas–Fort Worth can reach Tyler in approximately 1.5 hours via Interstate 20 East. Visitors coming from Houston typically travel north on I-45 before connecting to State Highway 31 East into Tyler. The park is also a convenient drive from Shreveport, Louisiana, with direct access along I-20 West.

Directions from Dallas / Fort Worth (DFW)

Distance: ~98–100 miles (approx. 1 hr 30 min drive)
Suggested Route:

  • Take I-20 East from Dallas toward Tyler.

  • Continue on I-20 into Tyler.

  • Use local exits such as TX-31 toward downtown Tyler.
